MY JOURNEY TO FREEDOM [BOOK ONE] by Susan Hopkins - from religion to grace, from trying harder to trusting in the finished works of Christ, to a personal encounter with the Unconditional Love of God
One of Mother Teresa's favorite texts in the Bible, which she often quoted to support her ministry to the poor, is "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me" (Matthew 25:40, 45, NIV).
Most of us do not have lots of money, but we can help - one book at a time - three dollars or more profit per book all adds up to help Pastor Ulfat to establish a vocational training program for women in Pakistan.
~ FREEDOM ~
A word we hear often in our world - but I'm not talking about freedom to do whatever we want when we want. I am talking about the true meaning of FREEDOM wrapped with love from the heart of Father God.
John 13:34,35 (NLT) Jesus said: "So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”
LET US BE GOD'S AMBASSADOR OF LOVE TO A HURTING WORLD!
Pastor Ulfat lives in Faisalabad, Pakistan. She has been married to Pastor Asif Rashid since November 6, 2012. Along with her duties as a wife and mother, Pastor Ulfat shares the good news of God's love. She works tirelessly to encourage, to feed and is acquiring one sewing machine at a time from whatever funds they bring in locally. They need our help!
Pastor Ulfat, and her husband Pastor Asif, are motivated by the compassion of Christ to help those who come to them for comfort, encouragement and support. But they need our help. My Journey to Freedom [Book One] may not be a book that these women take the time to read, but it can play a role in making their lives better. If you don't have a desire to read the book yourself, why not give one to a woman you know, or to a local shelter in your community. Let's do what we can to help Pastor Ulfat to establish a Vocational Training Program thereby empowering women in Pakistan to help themselves. Sincerely, Susan

THEY HAVE THE DESIRE TO LEARN!Pastor Ulfat needs funds to acquire a building, pay for the utilities and upkeep, buy necessary furnishings such as tables and chairs, along with the salary for trainers and their supplies. Her vision is bigger than just a sewing center. For those who do not want to sew, they will have an opportunity to learn hair care, esthetics, computer skills, and upgrade their basic education. |
ALL THEY NEED IS A HELPING HAND!One picture says a thousand words!! I hope you hear what I hear! Pastor Ulfat has provided documentation to prove they are a licensed charity in Pakistan. I will keep everyone informed of how much is donated to the Women Empowerment Mission in Pakistan on a monthly basis. Thank you for your support - ongoing prayer is of course the most important of all. Thank you, Susan. |
THESE GARMENTS ARE GOOD QUALITY!They not only need more sewing machines, irons, scissors, but also they should be able to select whatever material and accessories so they can produce a variety of garments that others will desire to purchase. Then how will they market these garments? How much will they charge for their quality workmanship? This will require training and expertise of a different kind in marketing and sales. |
